I took a chance on ordering online from Island Taste even though there's no signage on the restaurant yet and it had no reviews, and I'm glad I did! I ordered the jerk chicken dinner with rice & peas and Mac and cheese. I added a side of plantains and I got a free beef patty. Everything was excellent. The beef patty is spicy, which I like. The jerk chicken is tender and marinated in jerk seasoning with a jerk BBQ sauce. The jerk chicken is also spicy but not the kind where it is overpowering. The Mac and cheese is really good. The rice and peas are good, but given that the the dinner comes with 2 sides, next time I would choose Mac and cheese and plantains. The portions are generous, especially the chicken so you can share or have leftovers. I will definitely be returning again. If they add a jerk chicken wrap that would be the icing on the cake. PS- It doesn't look like you could just walk up to restaurant and order, but I ordered online and picked it up with no issue. I got a text with the pickup window time and when the order was ready. When I arrived I knocked on the door and the food was brought right to the door.
